Hi everybody! I'm Wilson, I split my time in Clearwater FL and Sacramento CA.
I have a diesel trucks for long time, Fords (1995, 2002 and 2003) Dodges (2001) and Chevy (2007). I still keeping the 2002 F250 and the 2007 Duramax.
The F250 I drove about 200K and the truck is in very good shape (I got it new),
the engine is stock, the trane is built by Jimmy Garage of Race Trans with triple
Sun Coast converter. Air Dog II with customs pickup does the fuel with Riffrafi cross fuel hoses and the coated up pipes (nightmare to install), AFE intake II does the cleaning of income air and AFE blade runner cares the intake air after inter cooler, from the Diesel Site I got the turbo wicked wheel, the waste gate controller, the trane fluid filter kit, the coolant filter kit, 203* thermostat, from AmSoil I got the fluids (obviously) and the big bypass filter system, there is a cross heads pipe to equalizer the high pressure oil to injectors, Evans coolant with two electric fans (I took off the original fan/clutch and collar) the rear end has a Oasis cover that unbelievably hold 5,5 quarts of AmSoil gear oil, the MBRP supplied the 4" turbo dawn system with 6" muffler and 5" tipp, the Flash pack tunes it to extra 80hp, raise the speed limit and correct the 315x16x75 Toyos tires size (I do not liked the Toyos, will go back to B F Goodrich, they last 80K) I have myself diverted the crankcase ventilation (so it does not fill the pipes, intercooler and boots any more with oil) and last but not least, installed the propane system with a 40 plus gallons of liquid propane, that keep the oil clean as when it comes in the bottle, give me more power, fun, and help with some extra mpg (after deducting the price of propane). As I said, it's an old truck (200K) but I like it, is in pristine condition and the new ones are about 50K plus the exost systems. I am also a former Auto repair shop owner (ex ASE certified) and I can say that I learned a lot on those diesel forums (sometimes we see some stupidity, but ok) and if I can share some thing will be a pleasure.
