    BIO Diesel

your filter seals wont like high concentrations and will expand. the high pressure fuel lines will begin to look wet and sticky when/if they begin to have a problem but also only with high concentrations. Just keep an eye on them. even though your stock filter is adequate, it is a good idea...

My PSD still loves vegoil and B99

bio will clean things out and plug a filter or two as well. That is, assuming there is any buildup. Mine has not plugged filters due to bio use. All you need is a spare or two. Your fuel lines from the regulator to the heads will need to be replaced if you use a high concentration. Cheap...

    Braking and fuel mileage

why would downshifting hurt? I do that more than I brake. Of course, I coast to stop lights rather than the mash-the-accelerator-until-the-last-possible-second types. I had 95000 miles on my factory brake pads and have not had any transmission issues.

I have reached the conclusion that a Racor prefilter is really necessary. It is cheap insurance.

    Why?

10 years next month and I'll keep her. I may get annoyed with her but I love her. May is 13 years for the wife. The jury is still out there. j/k

I ditched my center seat altogether and built a wooden console with deeper cup holders. Really, who would be dumb enough to sit there with a 5 speed?

I wanted to do the 3 position exhuast brake mod too but add a 4th position of "off." If you figure out how to do it with a single 4 position switch, please let me know.

    $$$ White Milk & Chocolate Milk $$$

I dont choose to believe all the end-of-the-world "studies." Coincidentally, MSNBC had an article on milk's benefits this week. Here I doubt there is any real science behind the "milk is poison" dis-information.

    water heater question

I can avoid that by opening a few faucets after I shut it off right? draining the pipes enough to allow for any expansion?

    water heater question

when I leave town in winter, I usually shut the water off at the curb. Someone recently told me I need to shut off the water heater if I shut off the water. Since I have a hard time believing 40 gallons of water can evaporate in 5 days, should I turn it off or leave it alone? thanks!

HELP - Need fuel bowl (I think)

well I guess it wasnt the bowl after all. CHPMustang came over and we retightened the bowl lid and then noticed the filter restriction sensor was leaking too. I just put on the new sensor and no more drips. I let it run for about 5 minutes and nothing showed up in the valley under the pump...

    handguns

Robert, if "snakes" is not a euphamism, some sort of shot shell would be better. I recently saw an article on a new revolver that will take a .410 or a regular bullet. I dont remember the caliber. I think the article was in American Rifleman within the last few months. If I can find it I'll...
