    I may be switching.....

    Sounds high to me also. They should have a maintenance guide of all the things they did to the truck. Make sure that the oil was changed regularly and the fuel and air filters have been changed regularly. If the truck has any kind of mods on it (chip, turbo, exhaust) you might want to be cautious.

    What you are getting stock sounds right. All my truck would do stock was 18 psi. Now with the chip and mods, is see 33 psi at WOT.:burnit :burnit

    I have the 30psi gauge and now wish I would have least gone with the 40. With my mods I peg out my 30psi gauge. I think I am running about 32-35psi of boost now at WOT. At least go with the 40psi gauge.:open

    I have 68K miles on mine and when it gets down below 40, it will puff a little blue smoke when I first start it.

    Look at my race vidio. I run a MBRP exhaust without a muffler or CAT. It is not that loud. It has a helicopter sound to it at low throttle settings but I love the way it sounds at WOT.

    Chip should be just above the emergency brake pedal.

    Make sure the Chip is in good. You might pull it out and clean the contacts and reinstall it. Some times a CPS will go out again in 20K miles.

    Regearing the rear end

    I don't see what the carrier has to do with the rear end unless it is bad and really does need to be changed. I had 4:10 put in another truck, F-150, and it only cost me $1000. He seams a little high to me.

    Welcome to the sight patmed. You can run straight pipe and gain alittle. If you have a Catalytic Converter (CAT) and remove it and the muffler, you are take some back pressure off of the engine. You can also install a better induction (filter system) pretty cheap.:welcome3

    Ok, look at my mods and tell me how long you think my stock turbo will last. Right now it is doing fine. I do run it up to 32# every once in a while. When we all go to the drag strip, I usually make about 5 runs at WOT. Should I start saving my money now for a new one?:dunno
