Platinum01, I am hard pressed to pull 20 psi without my chip/ downloader installed. For a stock truck 18 psi sounds about right. You will notice a difference in psi with a chip and exhaust.

What you are getting stock sounds right. All my truck would do stock was 18 psi. Now with the chip and mods, is see 33 psi at WOT.:burnit :burnit

Well I guess it is now time to Put a Chip to this thing. What would ya'll recommed? I know that I can't get to crazy because of the connecting rods that I have. What about the oil pump that I have. Will I have to do anything with that when I start putting a chip and more HP to the engine? Thanks.

Ford Computers are designed to stop the truck from boosting over 24 PSi on the 99 and later models, i have a boost fooler on my map sensor, and bone stock i was pushing high 20's, and with all my enhancements i'm pushing mid 30's on a stock turbo and haven't hurt it yet. ( but much over 28-30 isn't recommended for a stock turbo) ;)
