    This sounds completely normal. This is more than likely your fan clutch engaging to keep the motor cool with it being under load. It will periodically engage/disengate to different degrees depending on load, engine temp, oil temp, ambient temp etc. I'd keep driving it!

    agreed to what everyone else said above...I LOVED my 7.3 and hated to let it go, but I'm glad I waited. I love my 2011 and really believe Ford got it right this time!

    unfortunantely, no cabin air filter. Febreeze leaves a stain on the ceiling and also has a smell to it...im tring to eliminate the odors and not add more of them. it did work great on the carpet though!

    pb...this looks to be the route im going. did it harm any of the fabric or leather when you did this? My only concern is it harming the materials. I've called and talked to them and they say the only thing it can potentially harm is rubber, but most cars now days are more composite material...

    x2 on the price Clint. Just as a point of reference, I had my diesel mech quote me for it when i was thinking about doing it...It was going to be $1,000 for both sides...all in...parts, labor and alignment. Keep shopping it!
