    well, since you said they have the same axle ratios, we can rule that out. how are all the filters? oil level? fuel pressure? Someone correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure the 01's had more ponies out of the factory than the 99's did. is the 01 the one thats running faster?

    Now that ive got brand new injectors and glowplugs...mine doesnt skip a beat when i start it... Before the injectors were replaced...it loped maybe a few revolutions, but then cleared up.

    Yes thats very low boost. You should be able to pull about 20. Check your intercooler boots. My guess is one is loose, cracked, or soaked so bad in oil from the crankcase vent that boost is leaking out. On edit: if you are running your stock intake...you wont get to 20.

    check the under valve cover harnesses...if one of them is bad youll get a inconsistent connection that will result in an idm code..

    maybe try getting a rubber mallot and hitting the hub's in case something is frozen up? not sure if that could do anything at all, but worth a shot nonetheless..

    did you try 4low? just wondering if something didnt get frozen up and just might have to mess with it for a bit. I know when I'm in 4WD, and i go back to 2WD, i can hear a pop and then i know im fully unlocked. Have you tried backing up and going forward several times to see if it doesnt free up?

    I went with the rebuilt ones. They ran me $120 a piece, plus 100 core charge for each one. Once i get the cores sent back...I'll be just south of a grand (for parts of course). I thought that was pretty good considering that you go buy brand new ones from the IH dealer are around $300...

    looks like a better truck than the last one you brought up. aftermarket exhaust has been put on there as well. i saw that it said it had a "hypermax diesel tweaks" emblem on it. not sure what that is and if it has a chip/tuner in it. that would be worth finding out the overhead...

    no, to my knowledge you dont need to drain coolant. i didnt on my 7.3. you might also try hot shot's secret...great for repairing problems with 6.0 injectors...id do that before i go and pull all of them?

    Thats good to know...cause im having a vibration anytime i get at, or above 2500 rpm's (chip on/off, load/no load)...and it shakes the rear end. i really hope its not transmission related, and this is encouraging to hear.:sweet

    yea, from the sounds of that...i can almost guarantee you that the fluid is low. when you refill the tranny...it takes a long time for the fluid to drain down in there giving the illusion that its full, when its really not.
