HA! even at 70 while towing they still try... I guess these idiots see a trailer, then think slow... so I start :cussing: and start stompin on it, lay down some smoke screen... oh wait wrong thread :D I've been getting 15-16 un-loaded this winter (daily warm-up) got high 18's un-loaded all...- Dysfunctional

Factory tech valve body... Good tranny mod?
I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have the mod on a stock truck... but you may find it shifts too harsh. I did a transgo tugger kit myself which goes through all the valve bodies, the pump and greatly improved my shifting with the added power of the edge. But I sold my edge and I'm in between buying...- Dysfunctional

Help! Massive oil leak!
Ok... I think I screwed myself... I didn't put the piston and spring back in the pedestal and I didn't hook the sensor up... did I do bad? Reason I ask... yesterday the o-ring for the 11/16" plug on the backside of the HPOP let go and puked oil everywhere... :banghead:- Dysfunctional

no o-rings of any kind were found on the EBPV actuator rod... they were long gone :roflmao finished around 1am and went for a test drive :) :burnit wound up being 5 quarts low... :eek:- Dysfunctional

thanks for the #'s... I went to ford this morning and they want $160 for it :roflmao So for a $1.50 I got the parts to gut the damn ebpv and I'll be doing this tonight so I can hopefully take this damn truck to reno tomorrow -popcorn- Dysfunctional

Ok I been talking to a couple of friends asking for help... gotten a few suggestions. Where the lever or rod for the EBPV goes into what I think is the pedestal... it appears to be leaking from there... it's all clean towards the rear of the truck and down and I can see fresh oil. there is...- Dysfunctional

I think it's coming from the turbo pedestal area? Looks like it... leaking from the top rear of the motor below the turbo? I'm not sure... my wife just came home from a 400 mile trip with the truck and it's leaking oil like a mother fawker No oil reading on the dip stick... the underside is...- Dysfunctional

To muffle or not to muffle, that is the question!
it's really not bad don... with the windows up and my hardcore stock sound system playing... there is still more noise coming from under the hood than out the back ;) I like the sound better than the bling'n systems with ricer tips :flipoff2:- Dysfunctional

Be a man... get the straight pipe :D I'll admit it sounds kinda funny up against walls and stuff... but I've followed my truck with my wife driving it and it sounds mean :D windows up, radio on... you hardly hear it untill you get waaay into the throttle. I recently went on a 1200 mile...- Dysfunctional

Power when Towing
I don't want to intrude on the original posters question too much... but I seem to have exactly what you describe. I just bought a '00 350 with 99k and all the intercooler hoses and connections under the hood are very covered in oil soaked grime. Is cleaning them just a normal maintenance thing...- Dysfunctional
