Help! Massive oil leak!

I think it's coming from the turbo pedestal area? Looks like it... leaking from the top rear of the motor below the turbo? I'm not sure... my wife just came home from a 400 mile trip with the truck and it's leaking oil like a mother fawker

No oil reading on the dip stick... the underside is COMPLETELY coated... the downpipe is black from oil burning off it...

going to research now... I have no clue... supposed to go out of town tomorrow with this truck :banghead: :banghead: -mad -mad

Would really appreciate a heads up on what to look for...

ebv o rings or look up frnt at the hpop lines they like to wiggle loose and dump tons of oil

Ok I been talking to a couple of friends asking for help... gotten a few suggestions.

Where the lever or rod for the EBPV goes into what I think is the pedestal... it appears to be leaking from there... it's all clean towards the rear of the truck and down and I can see fresh oil. there is nice built up grime in front of this location so it stands out. Are these where the o-rings are that you are talking about powerboatr?

the hpop is at the front of the motor under plastic power stroke cover right? I tried following those lines around, but they don't appear to be the source that I can see.

Still waiting for everything to cool down so I can start pulling parts off... FYI, truck has about 107k on it, bought it with 99k.

Thats the EBPV actuator rod, Ford makes a seal kit for it. I'll see if I can find a PN# for you.

thanks for the #'s... I went to ford this morning and they want $160 for it So for a $1.50 I got the parts to gut the damn ebpv and I'll be doing this tonight so I can hopefully take this damn truck to reno tomorrow -popcorn

no o-rings of any kind were found on the EBPV actuator rod... they were long gone

finished around 1am and went for a test drive

wound up being 5 quarts low...
