    Contitrac TR 18"

wasn't trying to give you any crap. I've just seen a lot of tire shops that refuse to put a tire such as an E on a half ton truck especially on tires with treadlife warranties due to the customer doesn't want to run the high psi because the truck rides to rough.....then they come back in 20,000...

    Contitrac TR 18"

you better recheck the sidewalls on the Firestones. Being put on a 150 those tires should only be a C load rating as it's a half ton truck. Superduty's require a E load range. If they are indeed E range tires, the shop you bought them from needs smacked cause running the recommended tire psi...

    Contitrac TR 18"

I see you're sig shows you 05 is a Lariat so I'm sure you had the white letter TR's. Mine is an XL and had the Blackwalls. I wander if there is a difference in the compound of the two tires. Just kills me how you treat your set the same as mine maintenance wise and only get half the mileage...

    Contitrac TR 18"

what are you running your tire psi at?? I keep seeing posts where people are only getting 20-30K miles out of the Conti tires. I took delivery of my 07 in June of 06, ran the tires at the 65 Front/75 Rear specs and rotated them only twice in 60,200 miles. The rears were toast at 2/32" but the...

    Contitrac TR 18"

I just pulled my factory Conti-Tracs off two weeks ago after hitting 60,000 miles on them. They are great tires for dry pavement but are so so on snow and absolutely worthless on any form of wet grass, dirt, loose gravel and i'm not even going to get into the subject of mud. I ordered a set of...

    Exhaust...

I'm running the 4" MBRP "off road" turbo back system. Sounded pretty nice but after moving out of town to the sticks, I decided I wanted more noise out of it so I pulled out the muffler and swapped in the muffler delete pipe in it's place.......now it sounds nice:evil

    Cat delete?

It should work. The aftermarkets turbo back systems that retain the factory cat have flanges to meet up with the cat therfore a cat delete pipe should have the same flanges and would in theory meet up with a oem downpipe. I didn't have to deal with this issue since i installed MBRP's "Off...
