Front axle hub bearing and seal HELP

The other day my left front hub axle bearing went out at a little less than 70,000 miles, I know, not very many miles for an 02 model. I followed the instructions on the Guzzles web page for needle bearing service, Welcome to guzzle's 4x4 Needle Bearing Maintenance Web Page, it was very helpful...

    Blue CPS

My 2 Cents Updated Since I was currently running on the factory original I took the truck to the dealer for the CPS recall I was notified about in March. While I was there I decided to buy a spare to carry with me, I figured it was worth the expense rather than pay for a tow truck in the event...

    Blue CPS

My 2 Cents I installed the blue CPS, part number 1825899C93, in March 06 at around 30K, it failed yesterday at 47K. I had to put the factory CPS back in to get home. While old blue was in use I noticed no appreciable difference in mileage or performance. Make up your own mind.:dunno

    Thermostat

Have purchased, will install soon, the around the belt upper hose, the through the belt never seemed logical to me. I have looked at the 203 degree stat available through some of the web site sponsors but they seem pricey to me. Can I not go to my local parts store and pick one up for less?

Got some good news about my truck....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the gold is better than the green coolant, I just found it interesting that yours happened to be green. I like green, my truck is green, but the coolant that came in the truck is gold. Yes, the " "coolant wars" over yonder" have been amusing. Like you I...

I read the review written by your D-max buddy and was grinning the whole time.:sweet I too have a 2002 psd and noticed a couple of things in the pictures. First, what is the cover/heat shield on the right side of the engine that apears to span from the battery to the firewall. Mine does not...
