Hi there ,
Thank you for your reply to my post ,can you explain the full details of how to do it as I'm about to do it to my truck and really need to check everything over again ...
Thank you very much in advance ,
Sonny !
This is it, my first diesel.... 2008 F350 FX4 SRW...I bought the truck new... A little concerned with problems expereienced by some owners and that FORD has developed a new engine. Any thoughts as to whether the 6.4 L is a keeper.. Is it a good engine or should one consider alternative(s) in the future (say 2012 - once 2011 proven tech) I originally intended on keeping the truck for years, with a fiver in the future. Since FORD gave up on the 6.4 based on past experience with Navstar where will it leave the 2008-2010 Superduty owners for parts, service etc.... A little concerned, trucks are not cheap! Any thoughts or experience would be appreciated, good bad or ugly.

Thanks
dpantazis, You stated in an earlier forum that a bad MAF will result in less power and fuel economy and fooling a bad map with a boost pressure relief is pointless. How do you know if you have a bad maf? I'm guessing that a maf is a mass air flow sensor? Also, I am only getting 15 psi of boost out of my early 99. I just ordered a turbo master wastegate controller to get more boost. How are you getting 25-28 psi out of a stock wastegate?
Sorry for not replying sooner. I haven't been logged in for some time. Are you still needing some input?

First Diesel
I have just purchased a 2006 f 350 super duty with a replaced 6.0 l turbo deisel engine.
Does anyone know if the engine could still have problems or will it start performing like other deisel engines?
