Didn't you get the ATS torque converter in your truck?? Believe it was you if I remember right.
Hello everyone I am new to the site. I need some help, I have a 1999 F-350 crew cab
single wheel 7.3l manual transmission, I was driving, as the engine stalled, would turnover would not start, after about ten minutes the engine would start, go about 10 feet, then stalled, happened four times, then had the truck towed to the local dealership, they stated the cam position sensor was ok, they changed the connector to the sensor, still no change, they tried another sensor. Still no change, then they said I will need to change the PCMm which they found one in Texas, they installed the new PCM, as the code is coming back for the cam position sensor, Can anyone out there help
with advice. Thanks

Hey Matt,

It took in total about 4 hours to convert it to the newer front end. The most time consuming was changing the header panel out. The newer header panel is different than the older one, so you have to disassemble the radiator and CAC from the core support and swag over the A/C condensor to access the header panel.

I could probably R&R the whole thing in 2 hours or so since I now know what to do.

Hope that helps,

Tim
How would you rate your lift? Where could I find it, and how does it do compaired to stock when it comes to hauling ability?
Do you still own your '94 F450? I am thinking about buying one and i was wondering if you liked the 450? Is is a reliable truck? What should i be expecting from this truck? It's in very good shape and looks to be well maintained.
Your thoughts and opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
David
everything
relay and all 8 glowplugs
wasn't starting if not plugged in; I was fixing some wiring one day, and heard the relay whine, replaced it, no difference.
pulled the valve covers and replaced all the glow plugs, tested them as I removed them; only two were "dead" on the bench, but now it will start in zero-deg weather
