Zoo-Dad info

I think its been Asked a time or two.... will the Zoo-dad allow Water in to my intake when its raining heavy ... No.... Over the past 2 days, it was Raining Very heavy with some lite and local flooding, so after a long fast hard Drive to work I checked the Filter and the Box in which it sits... She Be Dry as a bone... So I thought I'd pass that little tid bit on.

Had the intake opened up for the last 3 years with no water ingestion from the North Texas spring downpours

Ditto, NONE, NADA, ZIP. Always bone dry.

Now on the other hand I did have birds build a nest in my stock air box prior to putting the gutter guard on the grill. That was a shocking find!

No water problems even with my TYMAR and both batteries on the passenger side.

Soon as I say this.....

We don't git no stinkin' snow in Texus

so I can't tell u...
but if'n it's a concern to u, u could always put a flap/plate over the opening when u want to drive through 4 foot deep snow

I have read on that other site where snow and Ice have becom a factor in possibly clogging the Filter.. Folks who have had this happen say they see loss in boost and increases in EGTs... On my truck ..instead of cutting an ob-longed hole I Cut 3 equally spaced 2" holes
