Hoss,

Glad to hear that it all worked out! Sorry you weren't able to "hang out" here in the Dallas area, but you had your priorities!:sweet

The wind in wyoming had me thinking I was going to get horizontal for a little while.

Glad you had a safe trip Hoss, the wind has been rather special-mad this week. You must have passed right through Casper, sorry to have missed you.

Come to Georgia for your deer. If I'm not mistaken Rifle season last 3 months, if you add Primitive Weapons season you can extend it another month, I think! You can also get a permit from the GDNR and a local farmer to shoot them during the Summer at Night with a Spot Light over Row Crops!! We used to do that all the time!! There is almost as many deer in Georgia as there are people!! I don't think there is a limit any more. They give you 10 tags to start with and you can always get more!!

Yes, I did. I apologize to all of you along the way that I wasn't more hospitable, and made little to no effort to meet any of you. It was 2,000 miles in three days in a truck designed to handle local deliveries, not cross country travel. I drove 16 hours saturday, 12 hours sunday, and 8 on monday. I was so tired at the end of the days that i wanted to sleep, and realized that even if I made myself go meet up with a few of you, I would do a regrettably poor job of representing myself.

Some day.... Thanks for all your support, guys. :sweet

Totally understood Hoss, when I moved my household from California to Wyoming I did it in a Ryder g*****er @ 4 mpg towing a car trailer and watching for the wife in the mirror, 1100 miles in a day and a half. I was in poor humor when I got to Casper at the end of the journey.

Glad your trip was safe.

Man one word off the end of that sentence and a whole new picture is painted.:roflmao

But really we should all go by and watch, with beer.:D

Sounds like the old story of the guy who dropped off his truck at the dealer to investigate a oil leak. He walks down the street, and sees his favorite place to eat, the local Dairy Queen.

After having the Double Brazier Burger, fries, and a Coke, he decided to top it off with a chocolate dipped large cone. He ate the ice cream cone on his walk back to the dealership.

The guy sees the diesel tech and asks him if he found the problem.

"Not yet." said the tech. "My guess is you blew a seal."

The guy protested "No, I didn't! I'm just sloppy with vanilla ice cream!":tounge
