You dont really need a "special tool" to pin these or any plugs of this type. If you carefully remove the pin retainer (should be a different color than the plug material) you can use a paper clip or a safety pin to release the lock tab on the pin. If you put a little pressure on the wire and pin towards the mating eng before you release the lock, it will come out easier. Also helps if you have good eyes and a pen flashlight to see which way the lock releases.
