You will hear about all kinds of gages and ex pipes and everything else on here. I have just put these on my truck and like the digital read out. http://www.stylinconcepts.com/part....tfamilyid/1777/subcategoryid/357/categoryid/1

Get a 4 in 304 stainless steel. Look around and get a good price on one. Go for the 5 in tip to sat it apart from a cheap truck. Chevrolet or Dodge.:roflmao :roflmao I don't think your truck has to have a cat on it, so don't buy one. Good luck man, we are here to help. not hurt you.:thumbs

4" exhaust will support up to 450hp. I like my MBRP!:D

HERE is a post where CSIPSD posted some pics of all his guages. ITP Diesel, a sight sponsor has most of the pods he used. The pods around the instrument cluster I've only found on a site I won't link to for personal reasons.

Here's one pic from that post.

I recently went below the cubby hole.

I just recent pu the Autometer pyro, boost and trans temp guages below the cubby hole. I am very pleased with the location. It does not impair my line of sight throught the windshield and I can easily check all three guages with a quick glance.

Good Luck.

I have since added a quad pod on the a-pillar and drilled and mounted below the dash pod two more gauges... I will get pic's as soon as I get everything done...

4" is about all you will ever need, 4" down pipe is the biggest you can fit anyway and the outlet of the turbo is only 3.25"

You will need a tranny gauge as well, the factory one is a idiot light at best. When it moves into the yellow it is already too late.

13 gauges... I should have stock in Isspro or autometer... LOL

Save some money for a valve body for the tranny and a Wicked wheel or ATS housing for the turbo. Chip, Jody at DP tuner, Tadd at ATS, Tony Wildman, David at DI... Pick your poison, there all great and I have run all but jodys. Jody has a new type of chip out now (on back order...) I will try some of his stuff soon.

Talk to Dennis at ITP for your gauges, he has nice package deals and does most of the wireing and painting for you. Also sells the nice LED's like I have on the Over head and dash pods... The A-pillar is the Autometer Lunars (I hate them). Lots of good mods and free mods for these trucks... Look around and read alot!!!

Thank you.
This isn't something totally custom but it is different. I kind of want to go for the sleeper setup. I am sure some of you guys have already seen this before, but it is new for me.

I hope this link works.

I got that one since I only needed EGT's and boost. I like it since it does not block any of my driving views, the bad about it, the two sided tape they gave with it simply would not stick to anything. I unded up using RTV to glue it in there. and it does block a couple of the idiot lights on the dash. but I still like it.

he did just ask about an exhaust right?

Yes I did just ask about the exhaust, but all the other comments have been very helpful.

Should I go 4 inch or 5 inch?

5" will see no real gain. You will loose a little low end tourqe with the 5". Stick with the 4". You can add a bigger tip to get the look. I love the 6" tips I have.

That was taken this winter... I have them cleaned up now...

either way egts will drop 250-300 easy.
Is this the EGT drop going from 3" pipes to the 4"?
And where do I get a zoodad? ( I'm going to do the $20 air intake mod).
