Looks good Joe :thumbs

;tu

All the Edge type stuff has been talked around on here for some time but worth a re-visit ?

For the Bucks.. I'm thinking it's good value.

Lot's of the features are redundant to the "Extreme Lariat" electronics package(s).. But being able to set Temp limit levels is nice.

Seeing Numbers, as well as a readable gauge is good too.

I'm looking at the Turbo timer.. for a cool down/shut down temp.. today. :dunno

Joe

Found it has a DEF level, in %.. NICE. No more guessing or going thru a number of OEM steps to find it's OKAY.. or LOW. (?)

Bought an Andersen 6" adjustable drop, aluminum trailer hitch ball setup. Turn over style. 2" & 2 5/16" ball(s).

Premo quality.. Well made.. GOOD STUFF, IMO. Got the locking Andersen draw pins too.

Got it all from Amazon.. saved me some Bucko's.. Again. Looks good also.

Installed an Edge CTS Juice with Attitude. My Edge insight monitor that I have had on my truck since 08 died. Edge would try to fix it but offered a trade in for $580ish for the CTS Juice with Attitude. I like the fact that it is larger and reads all the pid's now instead of a few like the original insight. Changing tunes on the fly now makes it easier than the SCT to go from tow to economy or hot programs. It will defuel on full throttle shifts which should help trans. Turbo timer and rear camera option are nice too.

2 new superstart batteries from o'reallys? yesterday. This is now the 3rd set of batts in the truck. First motorcraft ones had to be replaced after 2 years because one was leaking acid ready bad. Put 2 superstarts in there in 2013 (3yr free replacement and then pro-rate up to 84 months), and low and behold it start cranking slow earlier this week (heat must be getting to it). Had a dead one...2 new ones and we're back up and running!

Replaced a dead vacuum pump on my '05. Last trip the vacuum went away, AC started coming out the defrost and hubs weren't locking in from the switch. After replacing the pump it would build vacuum but not shut off so would run continuously which would kill it again if left that way. Using my vacuum gage/pump isolated a vacuum leak to the hub pulse vacuum solenoid I had just replaced in December. It was leaking just enough to keep, the vacuum pump from reaching the shut-off point. Got it covered under warranty (aftermarket part) and replacement shipped to me in two days. All is well once again. Worth noting that this is the 4th solenoid in the truck. The original OEM part was replaced when I bought the truck with another OEM part which was then replaced with the aftermarket one that died this time. Not a great system.

Towed my boat for the first time. Way different experience than it was with my Expedition.
