finished up replacing the rotted out brake line the runs down the frame from the ABS unit, the backing plate/park brake assemblies, new pads, rotors, and rear calipers.. bled the rear of the system..
now on to the front.. new ball joints, left side axle joint, and new pads & rotors up front..
somewhere along the line, I have to put a new piece of steel in the rocker panel of the cab to bolt the left running board to, or scrap the running boards altogether and put on a pair of shin scrapers.

If your truck is like mine, with the left caliper mounted ahead of the axle and the right one behind, you CAN NOT retro to "both behind" The bolt patterns are different on the axle tube flange.
