Guna RETIRE.

22 years in the NAVY, 24 years in the DON Civil Service. Worked Long enough.

When I "Crunch" the numbers ? I'll be 62 in September, SSI eligable... I'd be working here, if I stayed, for about $4.00 an hour. NO WAY.

Time to Hook-Up the FW, load up the Wife, Bob & Burt (Cat'n Dog) and "Hit the Bricks".

ANY TIPS ???? from you "Been There Done That" folks ???:dunno :dunno

we'll prolly do the same but are guna keep the house... for now.
My sister poored a full hook-up pad in Oregon. Daughter'n son-inlaw did the same in Up-state New York. Like you.... Freinds ALL OVER.

Guna look into some Camp Host/ Maint work. (my tools)

Wife'l retire in jan/feb after my checks level out. Stay purdy close to the casa til then. Then Apr/May head North.... thats all I know... North. Then:dunno

It has been AMAZING to me.... How much it costs to a person, to Work. I'm seeing a $200.00+ saveings, per month in just Fuel... I won't be burn'n in go'n to work each day... let alone other work related costs.

I'm look'n forward to be'n the "House Mouse" .....;) :D

Congrats Joe, congrats on the full career and getting to the end of it still in the upright position.

Get a hobby or you'll drive your wife off her rocker.

Glad to hear that you will be saying goodbye to the job. This retirement stuff is hard work. Don't let anyone kid you. You never get all of the honey-do's done. Some time I wonder how I had time to work.
Just got home from being gone 7 weeks, and it all started by going to the Power Stroke Rally in Texas, so put that on your list of things to do next year.
If you come though Arkansas be sure to stop and say Hello.
