Well, I guess I'm at that age!!!

Last week I had to go see the doctor. All I needed was to get my prescription renewed, but he insisted on giving me an annual physical. So it's good news and bad.

The good news is:
#1 My blood pressure is down from a year ago. Last year it was like 130/90 and close to going on medication. But then I was blessed with my puppy

and since she is so insistant on dragging my arse around the subdivision every day, my blood pressure is down to 100/80.

#2 No sign of any prostate problems
Which I'm glad of since my sister-in-law's husband (about 3 yrs my junior) has prostate cancer and is having his prostate removed next week.

The bad news: since I hit the big 50 last summer, the doc says I get to have a colonoscopy next month. Oh Joy!!!

I asked if I could get it recorded on DVD. He asked me why, and I said I wanted as evidence that I could show my kids. He looked confussed, I told him that when my kids were all in those pre-teen and teenage years they were always angryly asking what the h**l was up Dad's butt.

Hopefully I'll be able to show them all that it wasn't me causing the problems!!
