-mad -mad My dealer is trying to say that they can void my warrenty due to my exhaust mod, my truck needs a new turbo its a 2003 go figure. Isn't that a little agaisnt the law like the "magnuson moss" law passed in 1974. That states that it is illegal to deny warrenty work or void warrenty due to aftermarket exhaust installation.? Anybody have any Input it will be appretiated.-mad -mad -mad

:thanks

As long as they haven't voided the warranty already, find a new dealer. My dealer isn't really "mod" friendly, but they replaced my turbo under warranty knowing I use a programmer.

You still have not answered the big question. Is your catalytic converter in place?? If not that is why Ford is telling you that they can void your warranty. Forget about the Act and other stuff.

Magnusson-Moss isn't for aftermarket performance parts, its for aftermarket replacement parts. In other words, they can't void your warranty for using a replacement muffler from say, Napa, or for using an oil filter from Fram instead of using Motorcraft parts. They can however void warrantee for using performance exhaust, tuners, etc. I've never heard of them denying a warranty claim due to an aftermarket exhaust, as long as you keep the Cat. I have seen a few voided due to Banks programmers, Edge, etc, etc,...... Your best bet is find another dealer, quick.
