This thread reminds me of an old Air Force joke:
A giant C-5 Galaxy cargo jet and a small T-38 trainer were approaching each other from different taxiways. The new student in the T-38 was unsure of who was to go first at the intersection, so he called the tower:
"Tower, this is the T-38 on Taxiway Golf. What are the intentions of the C-5?"
At that point, the trainer pilot noticed the large nose door of the C-5 beginning to open, and he heard on the radio the aircraft commander of the C-5.
"T-38 on Taxiway Golf, this is the C-5 Galaxy. I'm going to EAT YOU!"
