Well, tuesday of this week I'm driving down a local highway [55 zone] doing about 53 mph. Going to the bank to drop off deposits, and I see in my rearview a patrol car coming on quick with the lights rolling. I pull over just before the entrance to the bank, the cop veer's in behind me and beeps the horn. I pull in to the bank and park diagnally, he parks in a spot maybe 2 spots away, and walks over asking me if I'm o.k. or just talking on my cell. I say no. I've got my paperwork out, he looks at me like I have 3 heads, and asks me why I'm handing him my stuff, I'm not in trouble. I tell him that as a habit when a patrol car rolls behind me the lights on, I pull over. He walks to the back of his cruiser, then goes in it, and walks back to me. He says "I'm sorry, didn't realize the lights where still on. He was also going to the bank! Apparently he had pulled someone over a few minutes before, and there's a lighted toggle switch in the car to tell you the lights are on, and it was burned out.
