I was showing my friends what i had for power (Just stock be side the straight 3.5 into 4 inch mbrp exhast) and i wasnt betting on it( amost as if i was getting on the freeway but some what wet out) but i had the hummer down, and as soon as i broke the tires lose i let off and got on it again and when i did that there was no turbo noise and no power, and only turn about 1500 to 2000 rpms, so i pulled over and shut the truck down and wait a few mins to stop the turbo ( if it was spining just in case) I started it after about 3 to 5 mins and the turbo spon right up no delay like how it should be( im going off what it sounds like over the exhast), so i figered my turbos gone or some thing. I parked it and wait about 15 mins and tryed it again sounded fine worked great but i was wondering why it did the power loss before so i took it for a ride again, and i couldnt get it to do it untill i gave it full beans and then let off and got right back on it again, it did just like before but the power came back after about 45 secs to a min,Thats why i think it might be the wastegate or something, If you guys could, please help me out, i dont think thats normal, but then again i shouldnt be beating on my truck, Thanks guys

Depending on the year of your truck, it maybe the CPS (7.3L) or the EBP sensor (6.0L). or any number of other sensors. Did the check engine light come on?? Do you have any mods?? More information in your signature will help us help you. go to the User Control Panel (CP) and fill out the information.

I'm interested in this as well. I just experienced this on the way into work. I had to really get on it to get in front of a semi on the on ramp to the express way. Everything was normal getting up to speed. However, I let off the petal a little and got back on it and had no turbo sound and no power. After cruising about 30-40sec. I could hear the turbo spin back up and power was back. What could cause this?
