sorry to hear 'bout that nick...ive felt that pain too !
i take it you have an alarm installed now ?

one of the better arguments for an item that isnt perm.
mounted (it can be hidden)....even an empty mount can
be a "tip off" that youve got something in the truck that can
easily be grabbed.

the 40/20/40 w/ flip down arm rest/console (box) has a
small cut out on by the drivers side hinge that allows you the
snake a wire in or out...i have the ipod interface for my
pioneer indash...i keep the ipod in the box...no wires
visible.

I had a full alarm installed then, a very good one at that, however with the lift, it made it so you could not see the red flashing light very well, so I had two additional BRIGHT blue LED's added to the alarm, one in each A pillar, now you can see them flash for the alarm over 100 feet away at night.

When they broke the window, it set off the alarm, it was about 2:30 in the AM, and raining hard, I went out to see what was going on when the alarms remote pager went off, but by the time I got there it was too late, and I could barely see. I live on the 3rd floor of an apt biulding, and can't see the truck from my apt. It really sucks, but I'm moving in 2 weeks:D
