ok well first things first i have 2000 F250 and the other day i was driving and my truck died. so first thing i tought oh must be the cps. so i went to start it again no joy. so i replace the cps on the side of the road still no joy. so i get it towed home to fix it later. well i thought well the batterys have been giving me a hard time so maybe thats it. so i got two new batterys still doesnt work. so now i thin its a fuel problem because i drained the the fuel/water sep and turned the key on and no fuel can in to the housing but the pump is still working or at lest sounds like it and feels like it. so please help me thanks a lot
:thanks

You'll want to verify that the pump indeed is working by attaching a length of 3/8" or 5/16" hose from the outlet(forward connection) with the hose running to a gallon jug.
Turn the key to start and if fuel doesn't come out it'll be the pump or the pickup/mixer/filter screens in the tank is clogged up preventing fuel flow or the line from the pump to the tank has become disconnected.
From the pump to the fuel separator I can't see any obstructions.

Others will check in with their fuel system savvy:cool:

Does your WAIT LIGHT come on when you turn the key? If it doesnt then its a big fuse under the hood, when that fuse blows it means that your fuel preheater grounded out
