your last post tells me that it is related to the steering column there can be problems at the tilt wheel joint if you are one of those people who tilts the wheel up every time they get out of the car.

Just a thought

my old 02 crew 7.3 did similar. Turned out to be the battery ground at the engine by the oil pan, passenger side I believe (been a sec).
Gave me some trouble occasionally, then when I sold it to me brother it really acted up so we had figure it out...LOL.

Same Issue!!

I just logged in to post having the same issue!! I pulled into work, a lower level parking garage, and the trucks gauges went dead and and no throttle. I have a 2001 F250 with a 4in lift on 35's. I was dreading a phone call to a tow truck driver and explain to him how to get my truck out of the lower level garage! I will play with the tilt column, shift handle and turn signal. I hope I can remedy the problem.

Does is normally blow a fuse in the panel? If so which one and what is the placement? This forum has saved me lots of headhaches so I appreciate your help.
