Argggg, truck got broken into yesterday.......they punched the lock on my 2012 F250 in the Lowes parking lot just like they did on my old truck. You would think that by now Ford would have a factory fix for the door lock vulnerability. :rant

Can I order a rear door handle and put it on the drivers door to eliminate the key cylinder???

Bummer Tbar. Sorry to hear that. I don't see any reason not to make the switch, with one question. How do you unlock your truck when the battery does dead? You can't get under the hood to jumper it.

I have a remote jumper cable connection that can go in the grill or........crawl underneath and connect jumper cables to the starter motor.

I am using Jimmi Jammers but I have never had someone try to screwdriver my locks. Not too hard to install, as I remember.

After my old truck was broken into, I installed Jimmy Jammers. Someone tried breaking into the passenger side after i had them installed and failed. Within 2 weeks of getting my new truck...I installed them.

Its a cheap deterrent. I'd reccommend picking up one of their tailgate locks too...you dont wanna replace the tailgate because with the step and camera in it...I can't imagine that being under $1,000...

Someone tried to get into my truck about 4 weeks ago. Lucky the dogs got me up. I saw what was about to happen and ran out the back door and around the house with my tactical shotgun with slug rounds in it. The guy took off running. Cops picked him up about a hour later. Thanks to night vision camera sitting in the camper they knew who it was.
