I have a 2000 F250 Superduty 4x4 with the 7.3L PSD. I have the manual trans.

Does anyone know of a anyone who offers a conversion to the Auto trans?

Thanks

Paul

That would be a tough one, I'm sure it could be done if you have enough $$$.
IMHO, it would be a step backwards as the manual is far more reliable behind the PSD. :sweet

http://www.brianstruckshop.comHe's done a couple of manual-to-auto conversions but it sure isn't cheap or easy...

He has pics of the project on his website. One difference of special note: the floor pan is higher in auto trans trucks than with manual tranny trucks. If you are going to do that conversion you will need to cut out the tranny tunnel in the truck cab and replace with a taller tunnel or sheet metal. This is straight from Brian's mouth and heard with my own ears.

If you are still interested, I am willing to be your donor. I have been looking into doing this swap for a long time and Brians offers the best service for this, but wouldn't mind doing it next to the shady tree.

Let me know!
