Well I finally finished it sorta,
I had to go to a company dinner tonight for my wife so I had a stall. All went well and I replaced the filter and inline filter (by the way the filter was 24 and the inline was 34). I couldn't believe the inline was that much. I have a feeling I was ripped off but I didn't have time to look around. I know the pan filter was 15 cheaper than the dealer though at NAPA.
Ok back to the main topic I guess. So I finally installed my extra tranny cooler (3 should be plenty ) and got the pan back on (minus one bolt...I can not find it anywhere in the garage...I will have to look tomorrow. But that transmission line was a killer. I bought a brake line tool and a pipe cutter and stripped off the very end. Unfortunatly the factory length is th minimum length. Luckily I had some 5/16 hose left over from another project just the right lenght and I cut out a 6" section then made myself a new fitting (I had to bend it carefully as I don't have the tool and I needed a very tight bend due to my exhaust) and then connected the hose to fill in the gap. I took it for a short test drive tonight and all seemed well. I never got up to full speed though. I have a small crease in the line where I bent it as I needed it really tight but it doesn't look to be bad enough to hurt anything or really slow the flow down.
I need to find a way to get that exhaust over even more but for now I will see how it performs as I have about 1/4" gap now where I had none before.
Also I probably have about 1-2 QT to much tranny fluid. Should I drain it out????
