My Tow/Haul button has quit working. Until yesterday I could always get it to work by messing around with the shifter location but now nothing. Can someone tell me how to fix it or even how to get it apart?

Thanks
Scott

Is the light on the shifter or the dash? Is the function gone or just the light out?

My light on the 03 went out at 30K but the T/H feature still worked so I didn't mess with it. dealer said the whole shaft had to be replaced to get the light working again.

Thanks guys, but mine is on the shifter. As far as if it is working or not, I'm not sure. I have pressed it so many times that I don't remember if it was suppose to be on or not. We are leaving to go camping tonight and I will check for sure. I will press it one time after I start it and see what happens. If it doesn't work then do I need to change the shifter or what do I need to change? Oh and mine was built 12/03 I believe so they must have changed the light location by the time they built yours Bushpilot.

Thanks
Scott

the button is on the shifter (automatic) but the "tow haul" indicator
is on the dash...

it should be pretty obvious if youre in tow/haul mode...taking off from
a traffic light it should hold the gear longer and to a higher RPM...

slowing down you should feel the truck down shift and feel the trans
slowing the truck or holding the truck back.

Ok, sorry for the late reply but we went on a long weekend camping trip. Anyway, my tow haul is not working. I am leaving out Wednesday for a trip to Panama City and back on Thursday. I will be hauling a heavy load again and I would like to get it working before then if possible. Oh yeah, my switch and indicator is on the shift lever. There isn't any indicator in the dash.

Thanks
Scott
