What is the status of your trans? I mean, if it is original and with miles on it, I wouldn't get a new TC. If something gives with the trans you will have to cut apart the TC to get all the debris out. BTS didn't even talk to me about it when I asked about a BTS VB. I got the VB and a while later the trans had a diode failure. BTS was kind enough to give me credit for the VB when I ordered a new trans. IIRC it is about 1100

was there any upgrade to the internals of the trans? and how much power are expecting to put down, if it is no moer than 350 RWHP you can go with BANKSt, BD, SUNCOAST if you stay under 350 RWHP a singel disc billet TC will be plenty strong, ig more is expected better go with a triple disc but they are much more expensive, and if you FWD pump housing has not been modified i would get that done when the TC is installed. and get rid of th PWM lock up clutch, a good trany guy will know what you are talking about.. i did it to my tranny and it works like a champ... night and day difference...

when i had the shift kit installed the tranny pump was upgraded to push more fluid at idle, he told me lots of the f250s get the tranny so hot and when they stop no fluid pumps and parts will start to or melt completely together. this happened to my buddy in his f350 when he was pulling a heavy 5th wheel. passed that its got firmer springs and the rest of the shift kit and a stock tq its kinda new but already pretty bad . from what im told im pushing somewhere over 125-150 hp over stock
