I say do it. Yes it is to much to have the fuel chromed also. Then you should have them powder coat. CHROME EDITION in black on top of the valve covers.

Bama;

F350DRW1 is right. Being an old racer, we learned that chrome retains heat. Remember that old adage, if it won't go chrome it.

I do appreciate the advise. Mainly just having some fun with this.

But seriously, how much (in degrees) of a temp rise would you see if any?

and would it be enough to make a diff?

1996 olympics in atlanta 30 chrome chevy silverados cant find a picture of them on the internet yet though. surely a sight to see

I think on a hot day, pulling a heavy load up a steep long grade, it could make a difference. Driving in cool weather probably it would not matter much. Chrome might be an asset in Alaska.
