Try greasing the grease fitting on the splined slip yoke on the rear drive shaft. Pump the grease in just until the rubber boot starts to swell.

i'll have to go look to see if i 'have' a zirk their...usually like to find them all and lube em up once in awhile...never saw one there..i could be blind too..

i may not have described it right...it is more of a 'slap' and it very well could be something w/ the shafts - i see that as plausible... you'd almost have to ride along w/ me for me to show it to you...what are u doing tomorrow....:lmao:lmao

I was aiming that as a reply to jageranimal. But it's applicable to anyone with a thunk coming to or pulling away from a stop.

well i went to lube the driveshaft there is no zerk fitting nor a place for one, i used a smallinsulin needle to shoot oil in throught the rubber not change at all, i changed all my brakes which ended up being good and i ended up needing them and seemed to fix the problem but nope, i noticed it dosent do if if im turning while im leaving the light and dosenr do it the morning when its cold out im going to check ou tthe ball joints this weekend

well good for you & your diagnoses....its a DIY job (150 per side)...
or 900 PER SIDE if the dealer does it...
