Woke up this morning and decided today is the day. Got my kit of parts: 2006 header panel, 2006 headlights, 2006 chrome bar grill, 2006 bumper, Warn Stainless Steel Transformer, with all it's goodies, Warn 16.5ti winch.
The front end upgrade took 2 hours, rest took about 3, (lots of test fit, put bumper on, take bumper off. Also, adult beverage breaks. -popcorn )
Overcast day, around 50 degrees, (good think since I still don't have a shop).
Got the last stainless piece installed and all hell broke loose, you should have seen this storm come in. It was like a wall, got plastered by wind, rain and dirt. Got my tools picked up, and then was chasing boxes, plastic, etc....
(was probably quite comical, watching me chase papers, boxes, etc..., sure the dog was enjoying it )
Oh, well, it's Idaho, the weather changes by minute.
I took a lot of pics during the front end upgrade and will get them posted for anyone interested in the what ifs.
I'll get some pics of the finished product tomorrow. -popcorn
(BTW, it looks sweeeeet!, who needs a new truck! )
