Referring to your scale ticket and assuming your trailer is 1300 lbs. that would make your truck about 6580 lbs. Your Tare weight is what you are subtracting your trailer from to get your truck weight. The weight of your truck seems right to me. My 6.0 350 XLT 4wd CC LB weighs 7620 lbs. with a full load of fuel and an empty aluminum toolbox with nobody in the truck. Considering you have a 2wd SB Regular cab I would think that 6580 lbs. is a reasonable number for your truck (which is pretty badazz by the way!!!!)

Well I hauled 5920# of scrap metal off yesterday, does that count? I didn't take any pictures though. First tow with "DIESEL" since I built it.

Here is the invoice from the scrap yard. Now all I have to do is figure out how much that trailer weighs.I figure it's around 12-1300# unloaded so that should put my truck @ 6200# give or take. I don't think that can be right, can it? According to Ford the curb weight of an 08 Reg Cab L/B 2wd is 5600.

Yes, I have now been to Texas! First time for me. Enjoyed it. Picked up this load a couple weeks ago. The bottom one is my new trailer. GVW is just over #30,000 on this load....Yes and I made it all the way back to Wisconsin!

The trailer belongs to my parents. It's a 2002 BRI-MAR 6' x 10' Dump Trailer with a 10,000 lb. GVW. It's been a real workhorse and been used so much more than we ever anticipated. I have more pictures, but they are on the home computer and I'm on the tugboat for two weeks.
