Thats what I had heard too and that is why I will not attempt it. I would assume it would be pretty pricey to have this done at a shop also. How many have done the coolant bypass filter and oil bypass, and mods like that? Pretty easy to do?

I would consider it myself, if your going to be towin, then you don't want your head gaskets blowin'. If it's in the budget, get it done now, and then you don't have to worry. Then if you decide to chip it or something you can anyway. IMO
