Ok finally got all the gauges installed and working.

did a few power runs up teh hill before fuel $$ got out of control

600 feet agl to start
high 80 f
climbed to 1212 agl ovr 1.8 or so miles
pulled or pushed 30 lbs of boost
EGT stopped at 1000F peaked at 1050 but wouldnt go any higher
my question is, does the pcm on the 6.0 cut back fuel based on boost and altitude and outside temps?

if so I am ordering a new exhuast and predator this weekend

powerboatr,

You'll get higher EGT's when you have it loaded, empty truck will not get too hot till you push it pretty hard. If you tow getting exhaust and intake etc is a good idea to lower EGT's etc. Call us if you have any questions etc we stock all the AFE Pro Guard 7 and MBRP exhaust systems and Predators too!
