spray on bed liner on chrome bumpers?

has anyone done this? I was thinking about trying it. if anyone has done it and has tips about how to get it to stick to the chrome please reply.

Welcome to SDD.com... I haven't heard of anyone doing this. Hopefully some of the guys/gals will chime in with some info.

Hey welcome to the site as for making it stick to the chrome ur going to have to scuff the chrome to make it stick. Try 80-100 grit sandpaper to make it stick. Good luck!

A shop here locally lined my chrome sidesteps so I know it can be done. I think he used some kind of chemical before he sprayed it on.

I have seen some pics of a truck with both bumpers coated in Line-X on another site.

I'll see if I can find the pics.
