For those "2008" members in the snowbelt.:plow
If snow obstructs the air induction/air filter on the 2008 F-SuperDuty, there is a winter grill cover available to correct this problem. The cover is a customer purchase item, and must be installed as per the included instructions. The cover should be removed in temperatures above 50 degrees for normal driving, or 32 degrees when towing. Symptoms include a lack of power under acceleration and restricted air filter lamp illumination. Part number 8C34-19A413-AA. Broadcast Message 0284, 7323.
There was a running change where the cover is included with vehicles built for the states listed below. Customers purchasing prior to the change will have to purchase the cover. Below is from the dealer Order Guide.

The Winter Front Grill cover is now standard and only available with the 6.4L diesel engine in the following states: AK, CO, ID, IA, ME, MI, MT, NH, NY, ND, SD, VT, WI, WY.

According to the weather people we were supposed to get 2-4 inches last weekend, never happened, 1-3 inches yesterday, never happened. They have no clue about tje weather so they say the worst to cover thier butts.

I bought an all weather one from Ford in June cause of stone damage to my intercooler. It looks great and so far I've had no problems at all. I would post a pic if I knew how to do it.

Your right. I got two good size ones after only one month. Haven't had any since I put the all season grill in. I installed mine last June.

And paid over $200 for it. I do like your design though.

well "my design" isnt necessary the prettiest thing...but it
doesnt detract from the truck either....some have painted
the "gutter guard", and ive seen some that went w/ a color
matching scheme too.

a good coat of krylon sees to be plenty effective from what ive
see from others adaptation...and they make lots of colors...
including CHROME
