get a guy with a autointegraty and get a buzz test done, and check your turbo for shaft play. Please if you take one thing from us PS guys is dont throw parts at it.
If the're only 12 bucks, and you've got time to spend rather then money, then do all of them. Then you know you won't have to again. Nothing worse then doin something more than three times. (Don't ask me how I know!)
well, i guess im gunna take the injectors back out, take them to a shop and have them tested and check the sleeves while they're out, and how much should i tighten the injector bolts??
turbo is good, now its running really bad, smoking, skipping worse, losing power but if i hold it to the floor when it gets over 2500rpm it stops smoking and takes off, any slower it just feels like its gunna stall
injector bolts are like 10 foot lbs or 120 inch lbs. If you did not tighten them they may not be seated all the way. I will second the don't throw parts at it! LOL What caused you to change the two to begin with? Did it smoke before? Any check engine light?
i tightened them as much as i thought i could without stripping them, yea it smoked before, skipped and idled pretty rough, no cel, i had it scanned and it said #7 and #8 were dead. now it wont run, i got in it went down the road and it started dieing like it was running out of fuel then stalled, i got it restarted and limped home, now it wont idle and is smoking really bad
