So just unscrew it and toss it behind the seat untill you want it.Back in my day you could buy aftermarket teloscoping antennas that just took a 5/8" hole in the top of the fender.Someone still has to have those available.

I was thinking about the modular antennas that mount on the roof. They are only an inch or two tall.

I was looking at some of those last night. I was wondering about the reception on the shorter ones like the rubber style. Not like a CB antenna I suppose.

That would work but I personally think its kinda ugly.I like the electric retractable ones like we had in the 60's-70s if there has to be one.I dont have an antenna on mine because I consider a radio an annoyance when I'm driveing, I want to hear the truck working(or not)but to each his own!

You can also get the .50 cal antenna.
But I've heard of some reception issues.
Most said they use Sirius or their phone anyways.

I'm still a radio guy sometimes. Good country station locally. Still listen to CDs and I can put a thumb drive into the Alpine deck my truck came with. NAPA has one of those cell phone type antennas that are coiled in the middle. Not much like $8-$12. I do need to be sure the truck will actually fit in the garage. A might longer than my '94 super cab.

That should actually work well.
Back in the day I used antenna boosters. That's about the same thing.
