Ok, so after several days and events of working on my truck here and there all my shop towels are soiled. All 200 of them. Now what do i do? What do you do to clean them? Someone suggested a laundry mat but i take my blankets there because there too big and I would hate some one to do it to me, grease and crap on my $150 blanket. Well let me know what you all do. I just kept buying new ones… Thanks Jordan

What works reallly really well is to use the gojo hand cleaner put about a half a cup of that in there with your rags and do a double wash (2 wash cycles with new soap each time) this works awesome for rags and coveralls the second wash will help clean the rags more and clean the washer out

What he says will not hurt a thing and you may want to try this also. Put your shoptowels in a cloth bag and wash them in one of the big washers at the laundry mat. If the washer tub has anything left in it take a shop towel and clean the inside of it good.

I poor a entire cup of normal laundry detergent, a half cup of simple green, and a cup of bleach. Works great.

Well the headlights came off ebay and the stacks kind of did too. I found a guy who was selling something similar and he lived not too far from me so i went up to his shop and for $500 I got from the turbo back.

So what would you recommend, my washer, laundry mat?

Towels have...
axel grease
diesel fuel
gas
front end grease
gear lube
motor oil
silicone
dirt
paint
diesel kleen
cleaner

and what ever else i have spilled on them

I have orange hand cleaner and simple green

Thanks fot the replys Jrodan

Per my wonderful wife I go to the laundry cleaner so I can screw up their machines ......This way I don't have to buy her new one's when my rags ruin the wahser:rant .....I did it once and the next load came out pink due to the red die from my rags!!!:nutkick:

The red dye is probably the worst part of washing the rags. I seem to get the dirt out OK, but the red is another thing.
