Shifting without the clutch???

Yeah we replaced the clutch on my buddies truck and 5 months later the clutch fork broke in half. So from now on when ever i do one i replace the fork also while i have everything out.

Far as clutching goes the clutch is only for stopping and taking off IMO. Course i float gas motors too and have never had any synchronizer problems. But to each their own.
