SCT Livewire...

bit of a noob question....when i shut the truck off the display screen stays lit. is this normal? don`t want to keep unplugging it from the OBDII port....i did read all the instructions and didn`t see anything in there regarding this...
thanks in advance for any feedback....other then that....:sweet

I'm not sure, I dont leave mine plugged in to be honest. Does it have a "sleep mode" that it goes into after "X" minutes of inactivity?

i thought about that, but if it does have a sleep mode, it is more then 60 minutes...:dunno....i did e-mail tech support for SCT, but haven`t herd back yet...may have to call them

not to bash sct but a dealer (not sponsor) took 17 days to call me back just regarding a question....:eek::rant:dunno

see you should have just asked me i could have told ya that. :roflmao

why in the world it is nowhere in the instructions is beyond me. It does go straight back to the monitoring screen though when you turn it back on.
