Remote Start

What kind of remote staters do you guys recommend?

I have a Viper Security System with the remote start (it has the delay for the glow plugs), cool down timer for the turbo, two key fobs, works from about 1/4 away & the key pad on the door still works.

Any other details? Model number etc? Sounds like a turn key one stop solution...

I have a Code Alarm CA-640. It is an older model, I think I have had it for like 3 years or so. I think Audivox bought out Code Alarm so I don't know where you can get them. I haven't had any problems though( knock on wood ). The newer ones I have seen are nice. I think if I was going to get another one I would get a bigger name brand one like Viper. I paid around $400 with install and everything.

I have a Ultra Start model #U1256M for my manual transmission. It has glow plug detect, turbo cool down timer and all the other handy things a remote start does. $59 on eBay and it works great.
