is your truck a 99 or early 00???? these trucks were known for a torque converter rattle noticed at idle or cruise but when power is applied (taking off from a stop) noise goes away. easy way to tell is at an idle in drive foot on the brake lightly apply throttle if the noise goes away then it is the torque converter.
