Wow, Joe, i was just in madera on friday. I think i got outta there just in time. You guys had this going on last year to didn't ya'? I seem to remember some snow in bakersfield round this time, had everyone in a panic. Caltrans was shutting down the 58 and the grapevine. And I was right in the middle of it. I think i just missed it this time, I'm in Dallas, and it's 65 degrees here today. Dry as a bone too. Do you have a boat w/a powerstroke too?, You might need one before it's over!

I think it was the same thing last year and, Ya you did just beat it... again. A friend was guna leave for Denver on Saturday.. saw what was coming.. left Friday. Talked with him today, they just made it.. started snowing as they got over Raton.

Looks like the brunt of it for tonight, is going to hit the Grapevine & Tehachapi passes. More rain here tomorrow tho.

Yamaha on the boat.. but a PSD to pull it with.. does that count ?? :lmao

This info just came off the radio we have here at work. With this weather, Please be Careful. Merry Christmas. Joe

Still @ .08 per hour, all night here in the Hanford area too. Ponding basins & Creeks are beginning to overflow, roads closed here'n there.

We're at 185%, of our normal rainfall.. This could get even.. More Interesting.. Nation Wide as this system moves east, but the L.A. area is beginning to "Slip & Slid" away.

SlowDown, Be Safe.. out there Folks.

Looks like you guys in Callyfornia are going to be growing webbed feet before long. Hopefully it will stop soon. I know you all are thinking "where was all this rain during the wildfires". Here in the DFW area, we set a record high temperature yesterday at 79. There was one town west of Fort Worth that hit 88. But then there's a cold front coming and the high on Christmas will be 49.

we're supposed to get more rain tonite... but the no rain today... gave everything a chance to soak in some.. 'round here.

We're in the middle of the San Joaquin valley... so no mud slides. I sure wouldn't wana be near L.A. though.. or in the foothills.

On Edit: Now they're talking possible Thunder Storms, Tonight & Tomorrow.:eek::watchout
