Question regarding Headlights

I just noticed that my headlights are on all the time. I had the autolamp control turned on but even if I turn the light switch off as soon as I start the truck the headlights come on. I have had the truck since it saw new and have never noticed it before. I am sure I would have noticed it before now if it was something like DRL. Could it possibly be a bad headlight switch or the light sensor on the dash? It does look a little cloudy compaired to the one in my car.

Anybody have any ideas? I am concerned about draining the batteries.

manditory daytime runners in some states i think. ford guy down the street told me it was in the computer it doesnt bother me though
