AS OF TODAY, REMOTE CLICKER WOULDN'T BUDGE THOSE DOOR LOCKS. OPENED WITH KEY AND POPPED THEM OPEN WITH THE DOOR SWITCH ONE TIME, TRIED AGAIN AND IT APPEARED TO NOT HAVE ENOUGH JUICE TO OPEN DOORS AGAIN. NOW NONE OF THEM WORK. HAS ANYONE EVER RAN INTO THIS PROBLEM? IF YOU HAVE ANY INPUT ON THIS FEEL FREE TO FILL ME IN ON IT. ANY INFO APPRECIATED... 2000 F350 XLT 7.3

The actuators on the Superduty trucks do have a tendency to get weak. Do they try to unlock but just not have enough power to get it done or are they completely dead? If they are trying the actuators are probably weak. If they are totally dead you might check the fuses and go from there. We had to replace all four actuators on our 00' Excursion.

If they are totally dead and the fuses are good check all the wiring where it passes into the door. My 96' just had a short that fried the module. My thread on the subject.

FWIW, I just ordered two new door actuators from powerstrokeshop.com. They were cheaper than the local dealer even after shipping. Mine go progressively weaker and weaker until finally they would not move at all. I found this out AFTER I put the interior back together.

I am not sure on the SuperDuty. Mine is a OBS. I am sure they wold be listed on the fuse panel cover or in you owners manual. As far as the module mine is under the dash. Did they dies a slow death as in get weaker and weaker or just quit all of the sudden? If they slowly died it is probably actuators.

I was going to post about this very problem. The lock on the passenger side of my truck seems to be weak......will go 1/4 the way up but does go all the way down when I lock the truck. Key fob is new so don't think that's any part of the problem.

So where do I find the actuator?
